Cliff note: You are safe giving out your Public key, which is the only key Nicehash will give you (they won't let you have the private key.)
Update: Nicehash "fixed" the API that we were using to poll and in order to continue to collect data we now need to poll with an API key that you can create on their website here: https://www.nicehash.com/my/settings/keys
Just hit the "+ Create New API Key" button, give the key a name (nicehashHistory) and un-check all of the permission boxes except "View mining data and statistics".
Follow the security steps and copy and paste the API Key Code, API Secret Key Code, and the Organization Id and then make sure to do the next step with the email verification as well.
After you add your address we start polling the Nicehash API every 5 minutes, so it will take up to 5 minutes for the first poll. Save your address in your favorites for easier access.
This service polls the Nicehash API which can be spotty at times and some data points will be missing and/or inaurate (very high). I will work on removing data that is too high. Please use Reddit or the contactUs page to message me.
